Spiral Takes Four at the Albany Ad Club NORI AwardsSpiral Design Studio secured four NORI Awards at the annual gala ceremony sponsored by the Albany Ad Club and Association of Professional Communicators to recognize significant achievement in advertising, public relations and marketing.
This year’s event was attended by more than 200 communications professionals. Each year since 1972, the Ad Club has honored the best in advertising and communications and Spiral clearly fits the bill, taking four NORI’s for their 1999 advertising efforts. Out of 425 entries, 163 were selected as finalists and 60 received awards.
Spiral garnished an award for Direct Mail Marketing for their work on the “First Albany Platinum Campaign,” which included the design of the Platinum Identity, all direct-mail marketing, a web presence, and the design of a credit card and personal check package. The entire campaign was completed in three short months. The new media professionals at Spiral secured the Interactive Media award for their work on the “Millennium Technology Web Site” providing an online presence for press releases and a new cutting edge image.
While the new media team was busy with Millennium, Spiral’s print design team was working on the “First Albany Customer Tracking System Brochure” which also received an award for Print. The most impressive achievement of the night was the Corporate Identity award won by Spiral for e.Venture, a web-site management and development software application.
