Spiral Takes Top Honors at 2003 Mark of Excellence AwardsSelected from 12 finalists, Spiral Design Studio, in collaboration with the Rensselaer Regional Chamber of Commerce, took top honors at the 2003 Mark of Excellence Awards for its “Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce Revitalization Campaign.” Winners of the competition were recognized at an elegant awards ceremony and dinner on October 8 at the Albany Marriott Hotel.
Hosted by the American Marketing Association, NY Capital Region Chapter, the Mark of Excellence Awards drew the greatest number of entries in its nine-year history. The competition recognizes effective marketing campaigns developed in the Capital Region that combine a variety of creative strategies with verifiable bottom-line results.

Spiral’s winning entry incorporated a comprehensive overhaul of the century-old Chamber’s branding, including redesigns to its logo, website, stationery package, newsletter and print collateral. The Chamber’s enhanced image led to significant increases in numerous membership categories including net gain in members, member retention and revenue – all with certifiable results. |
