Spiral Design Studio Renovates MapInfo.comThe new media professionals of the Albany-based Spiral Design Studio recently completed the corporate Web site renovation and retooling for the global technology leader, MapInfo. After examining numerous bids from noted design firms throughout the Northeast, MapInfo selected Spiral Design Studio based on its diverse talent and proven ability to easily coordinate with in-house Information Technology (IT) and marketing teams. Seeking a more contemporary, template-driven Web site, MapInfo needed a consistent, universal look throughout the site that could easily translate across its international boundaries. Utilizing the latest Web technologies, Spiral created a customized DHTML pull-down menu system compatible with all browsers and platforms, allowing for complete site application and management regardless of language.
