In an effort to capture the attention of its diverse, national staff and encourage participation in its internal online broker-training programs, Quick and Reilly sought to distinguish its internal training division as a educational entity worthy of serious consideration: Quick & Reilly University. Along with the development of an exclusive corporate identity for the division, the corporation wanted attractive promotional materials to introduce stir interest in its University programs.

Spiral was quickly inspired by a quote selected by the client for use in the piece by Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr., “I find the great thing in this world is not so much where we stand as in what direction we are moving.” Utilizing the expressed concept of forward movement, and veering from the conservative design styles commonly used in investment/financial promotional pieces, Spiral developed a colorful, interactive flipbook.

Energetic typography, active photography and varied pagination to suggest progress.

With the classy presentation of a timeless flipbook, the contemporary flair in design and color selection, and the positive, personal reinforcements throughout the piece, the promotional piece spoke to the University’s wide audience and created great response. |
